Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

- Review and manage the EPC Contractor’s contract documents. This includes completing the contract administration, management of contractual disputes, claims, variation requests and general commercial risk management.
- Monitor submission of documents/deliverables by EPC contractor with respect to contract time frame.
- Coordinate the commercial and technical evaluation of tenders and prepare tender report and bid summary form.
- Ensures the ERP (SAP) system is maintained with up to date data on all Bids, Blanket Agreements, Contracts, and Contractors.
- Deliver all support aspects of the project on-time, in-scope, and in-budget within HSE guidelines.
- Develop and train Omani nationals assigned to the project.

Requirements

- University B.Sc. degree in Engineering / Business / or similar role.
- Professional certification in Contract Management or equivalent (CIPC or CPIM) is an advantage.
- 10 years relevant experience in contracts management on a Mega Projects within Oil & Gas and Petrochemical/Refinery
- Experience in dealing with contracts and knowledge of applicable local/international statutory laws.
- Functional knowledge of System Application Program (SAP).

Technical and Business:
- Experience with FEED and EPC phases of the project.
- Demonstrated ability to engage with and manage complex stakeholder input
- Demonstrated ability to deliver quality results on-time in field of expertise
- Capable to work with multiple systems relevant to plan and execute work
- Proven ability to meet highest HSE standards

- Self-motivated, critical thinker with ability to self manage and driving results on agreed targets
- Demonstrated ability work in multi cultural, high pressure team environment
