Job description / Role
Candidates must come from an Oil & Gas background.
Our client is a leading contractor based in Oman. They are market leaders within the Oil & Gas sector with a project portfolio of over $4billion.
Role and Responsibilities
- Provide post contract management "quantity surveying services" in oil and gas industry.
- Site measurements, quantifying and reporting on all construction materials, labour man-hours and activities, plant & equipment use.
- Managing the resultant actual cost through monthly valuations and final accounts against contract terms and conditions.
- Establishment of star rates, providing commercial/contractual site information in preparation of variations.
- Evaluating claims submitted by sub-contractors

- BSc Quantity Surveying (preferred)
Experience
- 7 years minimum POST contract experience
- Gulf project experience (5yrs+)
- Oil & Gas background
- Worked for a reputable contractor
- Proven track record in similar role is essential
- Willing to work remotely if required - single status candidates only
Salary/ Package shall be dependent on the experience of the individual. Competitive package on offer, with genuine career progression within a growing division. This is an immediate role for the correct candidate.
