Dental Surgeon

Job description / Role

The successful candidate will be working for one of prestigious and leading Media Company in Sultanate of Oman. One has to be caring, communicative and experienced in diagnosing and treating dental ailments. Expert in the related tools and procedures to ensure the best health and well being of patients with the following key responsibilities:
• Meeting, discussing and guide patients to understand nature of the problem and provide best solution/advice and procedure in the assuring their dental hygiene
• Performing dental procedures, such as extractions, root canals, filling cavities and other treatment solutions
• Should be the main person in the management and communicating to the team in the procedure from receiving patients and first stage guidance
• Treat infections of the oral cavity, salivary glands, jaws, and neck
• Treat acute illnesses, infections, or injuries
• Treat infections of the oral cavity, salivary glands, jaws, and neck
• Provide emergency treatment of facial injuries including facial lacerations, intra-oral lacerations, and fractured facial bones
• Treat problems affecting the oral mucosa, such as mouth ulcers and infections

Salary:
OMR 1,500 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.

Requirements

• Bachelors in Dental Surgery (BDS) or higher qualification is an added advantage
• At least 5 years’ relevant field experience
• A good command of oral and written English or bilingual
• Good knowledge of MS Office, including Word and Outlook and related software’s
• Ability to work hand in hand with the team
• Very attentive to detail
