Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Core Responsibilities:

Strategy:

End to end responsibility for developing the segment and postpaid strategy, from:
- Opportunity review and analysis
- Alignment with key stakeholders
- Achieving management buy in to the strategy
- Implementation of the agreed strategy
- Contributing to the overall yearly consumer marketing plan

AOP & Budgeting:
Achieve the segment and prepaid AOP KPI’s as set out in the yearly objectives. To include:
- Customers
- Revenues
- Usage

- Effective budgeting and management of financial resources related to the delivery of the segment and prepaid portfolios.
- Creating and managing effective cross functional working between your team and its stakeholders to ensure Time to market is on time every time

Proposition Development & Reporting:
- Development of retail propositions which resonate with the target customers and hit the KPI’s as specified in Business Cases and strategy documentation. Creation of marcomms briefs and approval of marcomms plans which effectively communicate the propositions through the correct channels. Develop and measure business goals through clearly defined metrics. Production of weekly management reports in relation to the performance of the segment with recommendations of tactical initiatives designed to bridge any gaps that are identified or exist during the month and year to date.

Lifecycle Management and Roadmap:
- Ensuring that the segment and post-paid retail propositions continue to meet the demands and expectations of customers by remaining relevant throughout their life times. Analysis of customer requirements and development of a roadmap which delivers on our segment and post-paid ambitions.

Leadership:
- Leading, managing and motivating a team of direct reports to make sure the team members hit the highest levels of performance which ensure segment and personal targets are met. Manage, motivate and delegate within the cross-functional team to ensure the highest level of performance and to ensure the unit meets its business targets. This cross functional team to include internal elements such as B2B, Sales, CS and Legal. To also include external elements such as Ooredoo Group, other Group OpCo’s and partners

Requirements

- You have 10 years overall working experience preferably in telecommunications or closely related industry, with a degree in marketing.
- 4 years experience in a management position with people management responsibility
- Significant knowledge of proposition development and in-depth knowledge of segmentation
- Understanding of finance, statistics and analytics
- Ability to understand the market through sophisticated analysis.
- Ability to translate the analysis into easily digestible communications and presentations
