Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

You will be responsible of ensuring day to day operational running is aligned to the organisational and customer requirements and aligned to the overall strategy of the business, driving the delivery of revenue targets across the Retail Operations ensuring that all branches achieve their agreed objectives and targets, actively promoting a strong customer focused culture throughout the retail branches to deliver high levels of customer satisfaction.

Driving the introduction and implementation of new products and services as developed by ooredoo throughout the branch network, achieving sales operational KPI’s through the active management of the operations ensuring that retail units are fully stocked and staff trained to the appropriate standards, ensuring all stores are appropriately branded both internally and externally and operated to meet customer experience expectations.

Ensuring process and workflows are managed effectively and are regularly reviewed in order to constantly seek to improve levels of service delivery to customers through the retail environment, ensuring the interior of the stores are kept in prime condition, are clean, tidy and welcoming and fully stocked, ensuring through the management of the branch managers and area managers, the levels of pre-paid cards/e-voucher facilities and other sales collateral is maintained at the appropriate level within the branch networks, ensuring efficiency and accuracy in all branch dealings with customers by defining service level standards for branch networks in line with the direction set in the business plan, managing, motivating and appraising all staff directly reporting to the role holder.

Ensure that all other staff within the business unit is similarly managed by department heads, in order to promote the highest level of performance, ensuring that all staff training needs are identified and that training is provided in line with those requirements, holding regular meetings with branch managers and area managers to monitor and ensure there is continuous momentum to deliver against targets for customer acquisition, retention and growth of customer acquisition as well as to monitor delivery of quality of service, developing and implementing the retail branch strategy for Ooredoo in line with the requirements of the business plan ensuring that there are sufficient branches to service customers effectively as detailed in that business plan.

Contributing to the overall consumer sales business planning process and inputs into the AOP development for the directorate, undertaking the development of the AOP and leads its execution ensuring the budget is maximised and operational cost is managed effectively, directly accountable to plan, manage and control the annual budget for the Branch Network, driving cost consciousness and awareness throughout the branches, continually strive to enhance the branch network coverage by ensuring the network has a wide geographical reach in line with Ooredoo expansion plans and the annual business plan, developing a growth plan by analysing data in order to determine prime positioning of new branches, liaising with other functions as necessary to obtain the correct information on which to base decisions.

Participating in the negotiating of contracts with landlords and builds effective relationships with them to ensure Ooredoo needs are taken care of and obtains the best contractual terms, overseeing all retail fit outs and ensures they are meeting the appropriate standards of finish and branding, evaluating competition by analysing marketplace information on competitors' current and new products, pricing structures, service, sales campaigns, discounts, etc, keeping own knowledge updated with market information both locally and regionally and providing feedback to marketing and sales teams relating to market activities in order to keep ooredoo retail in a strong market position.

Requirements

You should have at least 10+ years total working experience ideally within a retail environment at least 7 of which should be in store management with a technology bias, significant experience in retail management, In depth expertise in rolling out retail chains, selecting locations, identifying customer needs and delivering high levels of service, experience in developing retail strategy and operational plans, experience of retail branding and location fit-outs.

In depth knowledge of retail staff development and management, capability in business planning and budgeting,understanding of GSM services from a technical perspective in order to understand customer problems, experience in developing customer service standards and their delivery, experience in developing retail operations measurement with university degree in Marketing or a related subject is desirable.
