Department Head - Planning & Solutions (Nationals)

You will be responsible of leading technology 3YBP & AOP development (internally and with OG), undertaking the unit the long term planning,leading technology units in all areas related to strategy and budget planning, influencing commercial plans and products through proactive technical analysis, technical & financial controlling of technology budget,reporting technology financial status,ensuring alignment to technical roadmap and evolution, leading the development of technical strategies.

Ensuring alignment with OG guidelines,studying and analysing network capabilities and suggesting the needed actions to improve the business, managing and developing suitable policies and procedures to govern the work flow with other departments.

Leading the technology tender development for B2B projects, planing and designing cost-effective telecom solutions for the business customer requirements, working with the Business unit to identify and develop new solutions for business customers, liaising and collaborating with other technology units in order to develop the needed infrastructure and network structure to serve the B2B needs, analysing all the feasibilities and ensuring the response within the agreed SLA, leading the technology tender response committee for B2B projects.

Leading, coaching and developing own team to drive up the level of capability across the department, ensuring all staff have in place a performance contract, are regularly and accurately appraised and have a development plan which is executed, delegating effectively to the team to provide opportunity for growth, providing coaching to indirect dealer channels on products and services offered by Ooredoo, working as part of the management team within Capability Management .

Requirements

You should have University Degree Engineering preferably in telecommunications with minimum of 8 years of experience in the telecom industry at least 4 of which should be in a management role , minimum of 5 years of experience in strategy and budget planning for the telecom industry and minimum 3 years of experience in mobile or fixed telecom planning or operation.
