Digital L2 Support Engineer

We are looking for a Digital L2 Support Engineer to join our team in Oman. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing technical support and assistance to clients and internal teams in the digital IT environment. They will play a crucial role in troubleshooting, resolving technical issues, and ensuring the smooth operation of digital systems.

Responsibilities:
- Provide L2 technical support and troubleshooting for digital systems, applications, and platforms
- Collaborate with L1 support team and escalate complex issues to L3 support or development teams as needed
- Monitor and maintain the performance and security of digital systems and networks
- Participate in the planning and implementation of digital IT projects and initiatives
- Document and maintain support procedures, technical documents, and knowledge base articles
- Conduct root cause analysis of technical issues and implement preventive measures
- Communicate effectively with clients, end-users, and internal stakeholders to provide timely support and resolution
- Stay updated with the latest digital technologies, trends, and best practices

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Proven experience as a Digital L2 Support Engineer or a similar role in the IT industry
- In-depth knowledge of digital systems, web applications, databases, and networking
- Proficiency in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to digital platforms and applications
- Familiarity with ITIL framework, incident management, and service desk operations
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Certifications such as ITIL, CompTIA, or vendor-specific digital technology certifications would be a plus
