Job description / Role
Responsible will be in defining strategy for Digital Marketing and new Businesses in collaboration with the respective stakeholders across Ooredoo Oman as well with Ooredoo Group. Leading the implementation and execution of the strategic initiatives together with IT, network, finance, regulatory and other relevant departments in Ooredoo. Leading the development of the AOP and its associated budget ensuring that it can delivery the required revenue targets as defined by the business and the overall strategy. Ensures timely delivery of projects in the various units (TV, e-commerce, mobile money)Driving delivery of key drivers (new customers, managing churn and retention, ARPU, ..) as well as revenue and EBITDA for these new business components. Leadership of the entire product lifecycle management of digital products and services. This includes self-care apps (Ooredoo app)etc. Leads the development of the mfinance strategy and plan and oversees its implementation and execution. Establishing and leading the implementation of a TV and content department and supports the development of a strategy and associated business plan to ensure it achieves its revenue and customer targets.
Including:
- Driving customer satisfaction of these new businesses as well as driving customer behaviour to online use for sales transactions and self-care
- Attract and develop talented digital individuals to shape a high performing digital and new business team. Coach, mentor and inspire team members in their daily work and expose them to new experiences and develop their skillsets. Contributes to the development of overall Commercial Strategy and Business Plan and translates it into the Digital and New business strategy
- Participates and contributes as part of the Senior Leadership Team within Commercial and the wider business
The Person:
You should have degree in marketing with minimum 10 years of relevant experience (telco AND digital business (online) as well as TV), minimum last 4 years in digital marketing and/or online business
Required knowledge:
- Telco experience in product developments
- Online/digital experience from a product side as well as marketing and commercial
- TV business: familiar with platforms and content
- mFinance: experience with financials services in relation with mobile operators
- Capable of building and managing senior teams up to 20 FTE.
- Financial skills (business case, joint venture set up, ..) including Business Case Analysis
