Job description / Role
- Development and implementation of coherent strategies and policies to underpin research at college, aligning with requirements of the Sultan of Oman Armed Forces engineering services
- Promotion and coordination of knowledge transfer by College
- Ensuring the college meets key performance INDICATORS relevant to research
- Ensuring that infrastructure and resources provided in support of research are fit for purpose in assisting development, maintenance and enhancement of quality research
- Ensuring that the research profile of College is championed via quality publication and wider knowledge transfer at National and International level
- Assisting researchers in grant applications appropriate to the mission of the college
- Assisting in development and implementation of a college research ethics policy.
Requirements
- PhD in Engineering, Science or Technology Management
- A proven record of quality peer reviewed publications
- A proven record as principal investigator, awardee of competitive grants, contract recipient
- A proven record of successful postgraduate supervision
- A proven record in research management
- A proven record in research knowledge transfer
