Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

c- Managing the staff of ELC and supervise their work flow with appropriate directions, if required.
- Monitor ELC staff regular attendance, work performance and assure that they meet the College requirements and expectcations.
- Assess ELC staff performance and provide feedback to the management.
- Participating in academic committees and boards.
- Assess students problems and find out solutions.
- Assess students work and provide feedback.
- Teach & manage students learning.
- Supervising the process of preparing the timetables for the classes.
- Assess the materials of learning and provide comments & feedback.
- Organize the availability of materials to support students learning.
- Contribute to the administration and management of courses of study and other projects.
- Contribute to the development of new courses and other projects.
- Supervise the marking process of examinations.
- Supervise the exam results announcement and solve any issues raised regarding the same.
- Engage in activities that develop your competence and capacity for this job generally.
- Effectively manage your work effort within the guidelines established by your contract, Staff Regulations and your line manager.
- Any other duties relevant to this job and assigned by the management.

Requirements

- PhD or Masters in teaching English Language from an accredited University.
- Minimum of 4 years experience in a similar administrative role.
- CELTA/DELTA/TESOL/EFL/TEFL will be an added advantage.
- Experience in teaching EAP/ESP
- Ability to design and plan learning and educational material in the center.
- Excellent communication skills and networking.
- Strong managerial and leadership skills.
- Familiarity with a technologically infused academic environment, cultural awareness and sensitivity are essential.
