Job description / Role
You will be responsible of conducting site surveys, registers dimensions and measurements, drafts drawings and produces professional layouts up-to scale for Ooredoo’s business operations, supporting and preparing engineering studies, schematic design and final design of various projects including plans, specifications and estimates.
Analysing & keeping abreast with new technologies & trends in order to improve the civil infrastructure quality, reliability & efficiency, reviewing and recommending dimension of telecom infrastructure elements based on business forecasts and operational trends, maintaining databases of relevant information on regular basis, reviewing, approving and controlling the space allocation for any new equipment within Ooredoo premises and telecom infrastructure.
Reviewing and providing inputs over co-location contracts and agreement documents, reviewing and feedback on co-location requests issued by external customers.
Supporting Data Centres Design & Implementation Dept. when necessary, undertaking similar or related duties as directed by senior management and acting on behalf of Section Head of Structural Design and Solution Engineering.
Requirements
You should have a minimum of of 2 years telecoms planning experience, with emphasis on Civil Infrastructure planning/design, knowledge of structure, civil aviation and civil defence regulations and industry standards, ability to analyse and interpret data gathered in the field during surveys, proficient MS package knowledge and ability to design engineering layouts in AutoCAD software.
