Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Core Responsibilities:

Premises & Maintenance:
- Ensures that all premises of Ooredoo are kept at a high standard of maintenance and in a clean and tidy condition (Ooredoo Campus, Ooredoo Stores and outlets).
- Ensure that the rents for all the Offices (Main Building) are paid on time.
- Ensure that Main Building Have a valid municipality license.
- Ensure that all employees have a pleasant environment, all furniture and equipment’s are well maintained and proper space is allocated for each and every employee and new joiners.
- Oversees the space planning within the departments and ensures the appropriate space is allocated and all equipment required is provided.

Maintenance:
- Ensures all Ooredoo facilities are maintained to the required standards, are kept clean and fully operational at all times.
- Maintain the buildings assets register, i.e workstations and furniture.
- Manage all maintenance contracts, vendors, suppliers and contract renewals.
- Ensure proactive scheduling of maintenance, commissioning and decommissioning for example: Ac maintenance, MS maintenance, building management system, maintenance of ooredoo vehicles and etc.
- Ensure the Ooredoo buildings documentation (procedures, reports, as-build drawings, diagrams/elevations and sketches) are complete, current and stored appropriately.

HSE:
- Maintain systems for forward planning, reaction to failures and minimization of exposure to risks for Ooredoo buildings.
- Coordinate the maintenance of the Fire Fighting and detection system support with the Fire Fighting officer.
- Coordinate Health, Safety and Environment issues in conjunction with the HSE Manager including: coordinating with the ministry of health for blood donation, distributing recycle boxes inside the offices, weather circulars to the company.
- Manage and coordinate the emergency procedures as well as recurring training and Evacuation Drill with the HSE Manager and operations manager/director.

Projects & Security:
- Coordinate with all stakeholders, operation, contractors, management and own organisation for implementation of projects in order to minimize impact on operation.
- Manages the contract between Ooredoo and the Security Services to ensure Ooredoo main building has security guards 24 hours a day.
- Monitors the contract to ensure it is always up to date and active.

Transportation & Fleet Management:
- Ensures all ooredoo Vehicles and cows are in good operational condition and well maintained.
- Oversees the establishment of a maintenance and repair programme for all ooredoo vehicles.
- Ensure vehicle registration (Mulkia) & vehicle advertisement is renewed with ROP and Municipality.
- Establishes processes to ensure that ooredoo vehicles are used for Business purpose only.
- Manage outsourcing contract with the fleet management company.
- Manage fuel cards, fuel consumption. Manage the reports such as misuse reports, supervise and reconcile.

People & Unit Management:
- Manages, motivates, coaches develops and oversees the development of the team.
- Ensures all staff members have in place a performance contract, are appraised accurately and regularly and have a development plan established which is executed in order to drive up levels of capability within the unit.
- Delegates effectively across the team to enable opportunity for growth.
- Provides regular reports, performance on SLA and KPI’s for the section.
- Monitors and tracks own budget and ensures it is effectively executed.

Requirements

- University degree or college diploma in the field of facility management, engineering or civil work. 6+ years of working experience at least 3 of which should be in facilities management with a bias towards Building Maintenance 3 years of project management experience would be an advantage.

Experience of:
- Handling contractors.
- Maintenance Experience of at least 3 years

You have a good knowledge electrical, mechanical (especially cooling), physical security, firefighting systems, health and safety, network & electrical cabling as well as civil Works. Electrical Engineering or FMP certificate (Facilities Management Professional Certificate)
- Understanding and experience of HSE
- MS Office proficiency
