Job description / Role
Female Derma Nurse / Laser Technician Up To 600 Omr for a Leading Skin Care Clinic in Oman
• Well trained on intravenous and intramuscular injections; be able to find vessels (veins) in difficult cases
• Be familiar with action in urgent situations (anaphylaxis, shock etc.); should be able to assist doctor in case of cardiopulmonary reanimation
• Skills of filling medical documentation, writing form/ PC. Also be able to make before/after patients photos, take a sign for information lists, gather and take care of patients cards and histories
• Be able to perform preventive, therapeutic measures prescribed by a cosmetologist.
• Have a skill of carrying out aesthetic cosmetic procedures, such as facial cleaning, comedo extraction, facial massage, mesorollers etc.
• Take care of cosmetologists working place, prepare the equipment for work, monitor its safety and serviceability
• Should be able to prepare clients for procedures (cleaning the working area, applying anesthesia, assisting during the procedure), monitors the patient's condition during the procedure.
• Provides infectious safety for patients and medical personnel, meets the requirements of infection control, be familiar with aseptic and antiseptic rules
• Assist the Dermatologist in laser treatment for a variety of skin care applications
• Evaluate skin care concerns of a client, conferring with Dermatologist to develop the best treatment plan and applying the laser treatment
• Confer with clients concerning medical history, sensitivities or allergies and determine a course of action
• Be familiar with action in urgent situations (anaphylaxis, shock etc); should be able to assist doctor in case of cardiopulmonary reanimation
• Attention to detail required in the performance of skin exams and recording of patient's medical histories and test results
Requirements
• POSITION: Derma Nurse/Laser Technician
• SALARY: up to 600 OMR full package depending on qualifications and experience plus incentives

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCED REQUIRED:
• Open to ANY nationality
• Female, 28-40 years old and below
CANDIDATE PROFILE:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from an accredited college or university or equivalent as per Oman Ministry of Health guidelines
• Diploma or training in any skin care treatments, cosmetology is an added advantage
• Minimum 5 years of continuous experience as Nurse or Laser Technician in dermatology and/or cosmetic/aesthetic dermatology fields
• Excellent knowledge of lasers, physical characteristics, energy sources, type of energy lights and there usage in aesthetic practice (Hair removal, skin rejuvenation/tightening, hyperpigmentation’s etc.
• Ability to analyze skin, determine skin type and identify skin conditions
• Knowledge in skin care, sun protections, pre – and post procedure skin care
• Strong attention to details
• Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills
• Fluency in Arabic language would be an advantage
