Finance Director - Food Manufacturing

Rapidly expanding Food & Beverage multinational seeks a high calibre Finance Director to be based at its head office in the GCC.

A rapidly expanding Food & Beverage multinational, is currently seeking an experienced and dynamic Finance Director to provide financial leadership to both the group and its senior members. As the Finance Director you will be based at the head office within the GCC. This role offers significant accountability for a forward thinking, progressive business.

The Finance Director will hold responsibility for all aspects of the financial area including; strategic formulation and tactical deployment, as well as championing the financial leadership of the group's overall business strategy. This role will allow the successful candidate the opportunity to play a significant, strategic role in the future development of the business.

It has been given to me exclusively due to the critical nature of the position and I have been tasked with securing forward thinking, exceptional finance business professionals for potential consideration.

Specifics of the position include:
- Responsibility for managing a team of 15 staff
- Accountability for the entire financial function including; planning, budgeting and forecasting
- Implementing accurate procedures and policies as well as establishing effective follow up mechanisms
- Reporting directly to the Group CEO and the Boards of Directors
- Acting as a strong Business Partner to the Group CEO in the business strategy
- Developing financial strategies and plans, which is not limited to but will include; M&A, Joint Ventures and IPOs

Requirements

- Ability to live and work within the GCC
- Significant experience within FMCG/ Food & Beverage, ideally with some experience within a manufacturing environment
- Must have a strong business acumen and be an excellent accountant
- Must have experience of IPO, M&A and joint ventures
- Must have GCC experience at a senior level (Financial Controller/Finance Director/CFO etc.), where you have managed senior staff members previously
- Experience in building a finance function and implementing new policies and procedures
- Experience with ERP tools (SAP/Oracle/Hyperion)
- Ideally experience in implementing an ERP system
