Finance Manager

Job description / Role

Avon-MHD is the sole distributor/agent for Avon cosmetics in Oman. Avon is the world's leading direct seller of beauty and personal care products, with a global annual turnover of $10billion.Our direct selling business model involves selling without a fixed retail location.

Avon-MHD has been operating in Oman since 2003 and has 4 branches in Oman.

The Sr. Accounts, Finance & Marketing Executive job at Avon-MHD requires good multi-tasking, IT and Managerial skills.

The job covers a wide range of activities, which involve:
- Daily book-keeping
- Reconciliation of bank, creditor and debtor accounts
- Overseeing FOREX transactions and managing consignments
- Preparing monthly MIS & related reports, including stock/debtors ageing reports and country results for international conferences.
- Preparing monthly payrolls and annual budgets
- Liaising with auditors (Internal and External)
- Annual tax filing
- Cost and inventory control
- Assisting when it comes to planning offers and discounts

Requirements

- Undergraduate/Postgraduate degree in commerce or business management (an MBA would be advantageous)
- CA with 5 years of experience, with at least 3 years non-audit related corporate finance experience
- Working knowledge of MS Word, MS PowerPoint and Oracle financial software.
- Good public speaking and communication skills
- Candidate must be flexible enough to accept additional duties/responsibilities if required
