Job description / Role
Transguard Workforce Solutions are working on behalf of our client to recruit a Project manager who will be responsible for managing the projects as assigned including liaising with the clients and other departments.
• Candidate must have Construction / Architectural related degree qualification with minimum 5 years of experience in the GCC.
• Previous project management experience in Interior fit-out of commercial Projects, experience in project costing and scheduling and preparing responses to proposals and excellent communication skills.
Requirements
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
• Reviews production orders or schedules to ascertain product data such as types, quantities, and specifications of products and scheduled delivery dates in order to plan department operations.
• Develop and maintain the project schedule and distribute information.
• Liaise with the planning department in regards to design, engineering production, logistic and installation scheduling.
• Liaise with the commercial department and the Project Quantity Surveyor on all variations and cost implications.
• Liaise with the procurement and production departments on all technical procurement issues
• Plans production operations, establishing priorities and sequences for site operation.
• Responsible for checking the drawings and actual condition of the site.
• Reviews production and operating reports and resolves operational, manufacturing, and maintenance problems to ensure minimum costs and prevent operational delays.
• Responsible for monitoring the production on site.
• Develops or revises standard operational and working practices and observes workers to ensure compliance with standards.
• Compiles, stores, and retrieves production data.
• To get cost from the contractor and make the pre-show and post show and LPO and submit the contractors invoice.
