Group Internal Auditor - FMCG

Job description / Role

Rapidly expanding FMCG multinational seeks a high calibre Group Internal Auditor to be based in Oman.

We are currently recruiting a Group Internal Auditor for a MNC within the FMCG sector. This company shows remarkable activity in the region and delivers its products across the MEA region. This is an exciting and challenging role for a candidate who has worked across multiple groups and locations. The successful candidate will be based in Oman and will hold accountability for reviewing, testing and reporting of operation and effectiveness of all internal controls.

The candidate will need to possess a strong background in all aspects of a food manufacturing company.

Specifics of the role include:
- Being in charge of preparing the Internal Audit plan and strategy
- Managing audit processes for all companies under the group
- Reporting to Group CFO
- Reviewing and evaluating the group's internal controls and processes to ensure compliance with the group policies and procedures
- Identifying business risk
- Coordinating with external auditors

Requirements

- Minimum of Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, or equivalent, and a certification such as; CPA, CIA or CISA is a plus
- Experience in auditing with the BIG4 will be advantageous
- A significant number of years’ experience in auditing
- Must have experience in internal auditing within a group
- Knowledge of SAP
- Perfectly fluent in English, with Arabic is an advantage
