Job description / Role
Responsible for the development and management of the Asset Management business in a highly professional manner.Develop strategy and effective execution plan for the business.
Launch new funds/ products under the Islamic banking umbrella. Lay down policies and procedures for managing the funds and portfolios. Monitoring the performance of the funds and portfolios
Ensure proper systems and process for running the activities of the unit. Management of the Unit’s day-to-day activities.
Establishing and maintaining Asset Management relationships. Facilitate operational areas to perform the highest level of efficiency and undertake problem solving exercises when needed. Prepare the Budget for the year.
Requirements
Post Graduate qualification and a professional qualification such as CA / CFA with 10+ years industry experience. Exposure to Regional Asset Management Industry is preferable. Should possess good communication, leadership / interpersonal relations. Islamic banking experience is mandatory.
