Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

You will be working with the consumer products and services team to ensure the consumer roadmaps are kept up to date and on track with key milestones and due dates for product and service launches, managing the in-house team and agencies to deliver the projects and campaigns in accordance with the consumer roadmap and communications integration plan, ensuring the teams follow the campaign management process with the needed approval gates at both local team and group level.

Defining and developing new processes and procedures required to maintain efficient and effective campaign management that produces desired results to time and on budget, reporting weekly progress against the roadmap and escalate to the communications director to remove blockers or resolve any conflicts with key stakeholders, tracking the effectiveness of campaigns in terms of revenue & acquisition as well as communication and brand performance, managing and monitoring the online/digital agency engagement to ensure optimal working relationships and delivery of results at all times.

Ensuring the contract scope of work is delivered in the monthly and quarterly agency reviews and address any performance issues as required, ensuring contract renewals, payments of retainers and additional costs are managed in a timely and professional manner, working with the communications director to support RFPs to refresh agency commitments as required.

Managing the digital media planning and buying process and ensuring spend is kept within the thresholds, ensuring the right channel mix across the various digital platforms , with the right timings and frequencies is used to deliver maximum impact into the market, proactively influence and drive customer sentiment of the Ooredoo brand via the various online / digital platforms, developing and overseeing the implementation of plans to engage, driving brand preference grow brand equity and enhance NPS in Consumer segments using the digital media, gathering customer insights following execution of online campaigns, overseeing the budget spend of campaigns to keep within the thresholds and budget over spend, proposing cost-saving techniques and tactics by leveraging contacts and agency knowledge, in particular with Digital/ Online communications.

Driving a mindset of efficiency and effectiveness into the campaigns team and oversee that all financial transactions are raised, processed and completed in a timely manner, motivating the team to be a high performing group of individuals that are fast, effective and responsive to customers and competitors.

Foster a culture of innovation and execution excellence, coaching, mentoring and inspiring team members in their daily work to expose them to new experiences and develop their skillsets and providing effective performance management with development and succession plans and address performance issues when required.

Requirements

You should a minimum of 7-10 years of experience, including at least 7 years in a MarComms related function, direct agency experience is desirable, otherwise extensive in-house experience is required, in-depth knowledge of brand management, in-depth knowledge of campaign development and management, in-depth experience of campaign tracking and reporting, demonstrating track record of managing teams and in depth knowledge of digital marketing, including social media with a minimum – Bachelor degree in Marketing or Communication.
