Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Provide leadership and coordination of the Recruitment functions to attract the right talent at the right time in the right senior, Mid and professional positions from inside the organization or externally according to the organization strategy.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Liaise with the Chief Human Resources Officer to oversee workforce planning, headcount budgeting, and maintaining established staffing metrics.
- Develops recruitment strategies to achieve required staffing levels.
- Oversees the development and the maintenance of professional relationships with college, university and community college placement offices as a source to generate qualified applicants.
- Directs the efforts of employment agencies and search firms including negotiating and controlling employment related fees.
- Oversees the providing of information on company operations and job opportunities to potential applicants.
- Oversees the screening and referral of qualified applicants to the hiring manager and the HR RMs for interviewing.
- Oversees the reference and background checks.
- Track, monitor & report recruitment based on agreed timelines and SLA.
- Works with internal teams such as marketing to ensure that all recruitment materials reflect the employer brand and showcase the company and opportunity in ways that fit target audiences.
- Personally managing executive level and or strategic searches throughout the full recruitment cycle.
- Evaluating recruitment technologies related to candidate sourcing and workflow management and ensures they lead to improved efficiencies.
- Works as part of the senior Human Resources team for strategy development and integration.
- Advising managers on best practices on recruitment and selection.
- Developing creative recruitment solutions if the organization is experiencing difficulties in attracting the appropriate level and quality of staff.
- Keeps up to date information regarding current employment legislation and ensuring that line managers and HR RMs are effectively briefed on any relevant changes.
- Oversees the development of plans to relocate staff to new departments and jobs due to restructuring within the organization.
- Assisting in the implementation of redundancy programs, which may include the development of early retirement packages and voluntary redundancy schemes.
- Offers advice to HR RMs and candidates on pay rates and market changes.
- Offers strategic advice to Business Heads in all HR related matters

The position reports to the Chief Human Resources Officer. The primary responsibility of the jobholder is to develop, lead, and manage the Recruitment strategy and programs covering the full range of recruitment functions and ensure delivery of related services in a timely manner.

The major challenge of this position is to ensure that it adds value to the organization and operates as a business partner.

Requirements

- Bachelor’s Degree in Management or Engineering discipline.
- MBA/Master’s degree in Business Administration preferable.
- Minimum of 5 years in the various aspects of HR with progressively increasing supervisory/managerial responsibilities.
- Solid knowledge in recruitment best practices and solutions.
- At least 5 years of experience in the banking domain.
- Should possess experience in managing large teams, vendor management and negotiations.
