Employment: Full Time

As the Head of Trade Marketing you will be responsible of ensuring the development and execution of best-in-class in store branding and communication and for the development of innovative and value-creating joint-promotions and their effective implementation.

You will be responsible of developing and implementing the overall blue print for shop branding and communication in line with the overall Ooredoo brand identity, supporting the achievement of revenue and acquisition targets through the in store branding (direct and indirect) through the provision of effective POS and in store marketing campaigns, ensuring timely and appropriate design, development and implementation of all communication material in all Ooredoo’s touch points, accountable for on brand design of in store communication and timely implementation, liaising with the brand team for Ooredoo brand compliance and with sales logistics and RTM’s for implementation and proper in store execution as well as ensuring all in-store communication is actual and correct, managing the budget and vendors in this area, weekly and monthly reporting on in-store communication execution, developing the joint-promotion roadmap in collaboration with sales partners (i.e IDS, franchisees, Ooredoo own shops, etc..), accountable for delivering innovative and bespoke retail promo’s and joint-promotions, liaising with sales and channel partners to set up and implement promotions to deliver preset sales targets, monitoring and tracking execution and promotion results, end responsible for implementation and execution of all promotions related to stores, channels and joint-promotions in this area, the promotions are to be within the predefined “promo framework” which is developed, updated and set by consumer marketing on a quarterly basis, working with consumer marketing to ensure these promotions are within the quarterly framework set. Ensures with RTM’s, channel partners and shop managers execution is done properly and sales targets are met, KPI’s are the promotion sales targets and proper execution, tracking and evaluating executed joint-promotions against set incremental sales targets, developing the AOP for the Trade marketing department and ensure its alignment to the overall Direct and indirect strategy and plan, developing the associated budget and manage the budget for in-store branding and advertising and driving joint promotions, managing all activities within the set budget for in-store communication and branding, identifying and selecting suppliers and partners who can supply services to Ooredoo to the required standards, establishing and Maintaining relationship with various suppliers contributing to cost efficient yet innovative in-store and POS branding and communication and managing a team of max. 3 FTE, senior managers. Strong sales skills and people management. Strong verbal communicator with hands-on mentality. Able to inspire and develop a small team.

Requirements

You should have a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in telco specifically within retail and/or retail marketing, in depth knowledge of POS and in store marketing, proven experience in leading trade marketing initiatives, significant experience in managing joint promotions and in-store branding and communication with At least 3 year experience in managing external partnership trade relations with bachelor degree in Marketing or similar.
