Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Undertaken all the project change control functions related to consortium contract with having four contractual parties under this contract. Reviewed all contract documents to identify the allocation of responsibilities, risks, liabilities, exceptions & other obligations of each contractual party of consortium contract. Conducted forensic investigation of all technical data, schedules, progress reports, claims, counter claims etc. to establish the strategy for contract closure. Obtained all the evidences, event information, technical data for each claim event received from client. Provided guidance to project team of all consortium contract parties on contracts management best practice, contractual obligations, scope variation, extension, change order etc. for the balance project duration. Prepared comprehensive claim report each for inward & outward mentioning the causations, analysis, cost, agreement / disagreement, and all necessary evidence backup etc. complete for the management review & submission. Interfaced with all the stakeholders to identify the potential claims, risks & its contractual implications and accordingly formulated the claim notifications supported with all possible evidences. Monitored the contractual timescales of all the claims received from contractor / client and checked its compliance with the contract

Requirements

Qualification: MRICS or similar; preferably with some dispute resolution qualification.
Overall Years of Experience: min. 15 years in construction with min 5 yrs in pure claims environment.
Gulf Exp: preferred but not essential.
Preferred Industry: Construction essential, O&G optional extra.
Key Words (which should be available in the CV): familiarity with FIDIC; clear understanding of various approaches to delay analysis; demonstrable track record of success in additional cost & time claims.
3-4 Key Deliverable: manage claims across the civils division (and potentially O&G); ensure justifiable entitlement, timely notices and submissions; progress claims to resolution with Engineers and Clients.
