Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

- Carry out maintenance, installation, calibration and repair work, on site and in repair shop on a variety of Instruments - electronic, pneumatic, hydraulic, mechanical instrumentation and control valves, final control elements.
- Troubleshooting, rectification, testing and commissioning of instrument loops, Instrument, logics and basic HMI and control systems, handling variety of testing equipment and advising and guiding other technicians.
- Prepare application for work permit and understand permit conditions stipulated to ensure adherence to procedures.
- Comply with all relevant safety, health and environmental procedures to ensure a healthy and safe work environment
- identify related functional logic diagrams, panel wiring diagrams, PLC logics etc. and troubleshoot the problems.
- Able to understand basics of DCS systems, FGS systems, governing systems like WOODWARD, CCC etc.,
- Able to read and understand wiring diagrams, alarms, report any deficiencies on complex equipment through proper communication channels and reporting.
- Able to understand basics of FF, HART, PST systems, Tank gauging systems etc.
- Able to carry out PM and preliminary trouble shooting.

Requirements

- Diploma in Instrumentation Technology
- Minimum experience of 5 years in the same role with an oil and gas or petrochemical industry
- Strong Communication skills
- Customer service skills
- Computer skills (MS - Office) literacy
