Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

IT Responsibilities & Duties:
- IT Troubleshooting. Solving IT problems with printer, laptops, desktops and other IT material
- Changing backup tapes from server, checking backup job status etc..
- Preparing new computers. Installation of required softwares, configuring emails.
- Software installation, re-installations, configuring.
- Hardware installation and configuration.
- Solving incidents are they arrive through mail, phone and helpdesk system
- Escalate problem to second line support when necessary
- Inform users of scheduled downtimes or any service outage
- Prioritising and managing many open cases at one time
- Purchasing all IT material and printer consumables

Document Controller Responsibilities & Duties:
- Coordinate all activities related to the Document Control procedure, including - technical documents, drawings, and commercial correspondence.
- Input document data into the standard registers ensuring that the information is accurate and up to date.
- Generate the various document control reports as required.
- Typing of site documents, and follow up of all the site needs
- Makes sure that controlled copies of latest approved documents and drawings are given to the appropriate staff, subcontractors and suppliers as applicable
- Maintain updated records of all approved documents and drawings and their distribution clearly
- Maintain the documents and drawings in the Document Control office under safe custody without any damage or deterioration with easy traceability.
- Maintain the files and control logs as required by the project.

Requirements

- Computer Engineering and/or Management Information Systems
- 2 years experience as IT Officer
- An experience in Document Control would be highly appreciated.

Language Fluency: Fluent English. Arabic and/or French a plus.
