Junior Technician - Inflight Entertainment & Connectivity Line Maintenance

In 2010 we supplied navigation systems to 5 airports, modernizing Oman's navigation surveillance capabilities and increasing flight safety. An increase in air traffic growth has led to crucial need for modernization of Oman's transport infrastructure, Thales is providing security solutions for Oman's largest infrastructure project, Muscat International Airport and for Salalah Airport in Oman's second largest city.

WE ARE CURRENTLY LOOKING FOR A JUNIOR TECHNICIAN IN FLIGHT ENTERTAINMENT & CONNECTIVITY LINE MAINTENANCE -TO JOIN IFE TEAM IN OMAN.

JOB OBJECTIVE
To carry out line maintenance activities on OMAN AIR equipped A/C related to Thales IFEC, Troubleshooting of IFE system, Software Loading, Content Loading

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Routine IFEC check on Thales IFE equipped A/C
- Detect rectification.
- Reports (SERVO & AMOS)
- Content and SW loading
- LRU's removal/Installation
- Functional system check
- Liaise with customer and internally on technical matters

WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS FRESH GRADUATES - OMANIS

Requirements

- Degree or Diploma in Aeronautics/Telecommunication/Electrical/Mechatronics Engineering or IT.

PREFERRED SKILLS
- Very Good in English (Speaking, reading and writing).
- Computer knowledgeable (Excel, PowerPoint, words, databases, ERP)
- Linux basic knowledge
- Valid driving license
- Communication skills (written and oral)
