Lead Internal Auditor

Job description / Role

An international operating company have a new requirement for a Lead Internal Auditor. The incumbent will be responsible for providing leadership to the Audit function and driving excellence within Internal Audit.

This is an residential position based in Muscat.

Responsibilities will include:
- To Lead the planning and execution of internal Audits
- Conduct risk assessments, development of audit strategy
- Follow up reviews
- Develop and maintain policy and procedures for internal auditing
- Prepare the annual audit plan and give clear and concise audit reports
- Conduct Gap analysis

Requirements

- A Professional Accounting designation - CA,CPA,CMA,CISA, etc
- 10 Years Minimum professional auditing experience
- Strong technical knowledge
- Previous experience in Oil and Gas industry covering Production Sharing Agreements
- Fluency in English
