Manager - Advertising & Promotions

Job description / Role

- To develop and execute media strategy across all media to raise company’s profile and market MHD’s activities
- To develop a relation with the local media houses so as to arrange sufficient PR coverage for the MHD group of companies.
- Coordinate the advertising and promotional requirements of all business divisions & departments of MHD Automotive and MHD LLC as per their requirements and brief received from them.
- To take responsibility for the development and management of MHD’s website, including keeping content up to date and appropriate, making improvements to functionality and advising colleagues on maximising its potential.
- To lead on the production of all internal publications including the corporate profile/ in-house magazine etc.
- To organise MHD’s conferences/ other events as necessary.
- Liaison with principals to ascertain their requirements/ obtaining their CI Guidelines and implementation in our facilities (specifically for Automotive Division).
- Liaison with principals to obtain their approval for sponsorship of local events/ preparation of pre & post event reports/ raising of debit notes
- Negotiation & approval of all marketing expenses including media plans/ quotes for marketing materials.
- Raising of LPO’s / checking and clearing invoices/ keeping track of outstanding/ arranging release of payments.

Requirements

- Bachelors’ degree plus qualification in PR/Communications, Journalism, or related field.
- At least 10 years experience working in the field of communications and marketing.
