Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

- Provide operational performance insights and data for all Cabin Crew planning including manpower, operational and capital budgets, recruitment needs, and training needs.
- Provide guidance on rostering of Cabin Crew for immediate and long-term enhancement of service delivery and efficiency including its fairness, whilst respecting required legality.
- Establish performance KPI’s, goals and targets to improve efficiency, compliance to safety standards and improvement in service delivery standards including ancillary sales.
- Hold overall responsibility for flying crew to meet KPIs against attendance, grooming, safety and service standards.
- Monitor all performance checks of new and grounded line crew before they are released online.
- Ensure that all Cabin Crew are appropriately monitored and appraised against approved metrics to trigger appropriate transfers, promotions, disciplinary action, resignations, contract renewals and termination.
- Undertake disciplinary review of all Cabin Crew attendance, sickness patterns, grooming and service delivery levels against established KPIs, goals and targets. Investigate nonperforming crew and other acts of misconduct and implement remedial programs for crew who fall short of the expected standard. Update the performance appraisals features to adapt them to changing environment or working conditions.
- Support on all service trials and where needed provide necessary operational insight to the service standards and safety team.
- Participate in, and handle any crisis situation which involves Cabin Crew, where required extend maximum support to staff and their families.
- Directly or indirectly involve in conducting professional investigation that affect the image of the airline.
- Ensure that investigations and analysis of all passenger complaints, incidents and crew compliments are conducted thoroughly, and liaise with all stakeholders to determine improvement programs to enhance performance.
- Participate in and handle any crisis situation that involves flight crew.
- Be an impartial authority in discussions between Cabin Crew that cannot be resolved by subordinates.
- Ensure provision of counseling and assistance to Cabin Crew.
- In coordination with internal stakeholders, develop effective and appropriate communication links with flight attendants through newsletter, e-mails, etc. covering developments and policy changes.

Requirements

Bachelor degree in a related field with 08 years of relevant work experience preferably in Cabin Crew Training, Recruitment & Assessment.

OR Specialised certificate / license in the related field preferably Cabin Crew License with Secondary School and having 14 years of WY / Aviation experience in similar functions.

Master degree in the related discipline or Management training certificate (Airline preference) will be advantage.
