Job description / Role
Manager - Commercial & B2B ( Omani Nationals or GCC only)
- You will be responsible for procurement of vendors for Sales, Marketing, Logistics, Customer Services, Shops, B2B and Exco departments (excluding and Network procurement).
- Managing end to end tendering processes (including coordination, review & evaluation of the commercial aspects, negotiation and presentation of the reviews to the Senior Management).
- Advising the Project Management team on remedies within the contract if poor performance is encountered.
- Involvement in assessment, review and negotiation of any additional costs requested by the Vendors.
- Reviewing of any changes in internal/external procedures/processes to ensure compliance with the agreed contract.
- Risk management if the above are not in accordance with the Contract.
- Provide problem and change management for the commercial element of the contract. Conducting regular review meetings with the Vendors.
- Develop, manage and maintain commercial relationships with the vendor to ensure that they meet the company’s objectives on time, quality and cost.
- Applying financial control in line with management objectives.
- Providing relevant information for the P&L Vendor Management.
- Raising purchase orders with relevant supporting documentation.
- Supporting OG Strategic Sourcing initiatives Ensuring contract files are kept up to date and managing contract renewals.
- Mentoring and training staff in commercial & B2B procurement.
Requirements
You have a Degree in Business Management, Finance, or related to Procurement. You have minimum of 8 years’ experience in procurement in a telecom environment. Preferred an individual with a Charted Institute of Purchasing & Supply certification.
