Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

- Analysis of applicable CMA related laws / regulations, internal standards and code of conduct requirements for the assigned departments, developing a comprehensive checklist on the regulations and developing a mechanism for effective implementation of requirements.
- Update the checklist on changes in the regulations and provide this to the responsible departmental heads
- Regulatory (CMA/MSM) correspondence and relationship management. Providing information and reports as requested by the regulators.
- Ensure timely submission on regulatory returns and review the returns.
- Conduct risk assessment of the assigned department
- On-going monitoring of the assigned department and issuing non-compliance reports to the responsible departments
- Escalation and track closure of the reported issue in the on-going reports
- Issue compliance advises on relevant regulatory issues
- Review and provide inputs on policies/procedures/products from compliance and governance perspective on CMA related issues
- Provide Compliance trainings to the assigned departments
- Providing information to the Internal Auditors and CMA/CBO regulators when audits are conducted in the bank.
- Tracking closure of the issues raised by the regulator for the assigned department and report to the Head of Compliance.
- Ensure Staff trading is in conformity with CMA requirements.
- Any other Compliance related tasks assigned by the Head of Compliance.

Requirements

- Should have a post-graduation / professional degree.
- Should have 3-4 years of experience in banking.
- Should have high level of honesty, integrity, commitment towards work, good analysis, judgement skills, unbiased and bold.
