Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

- Responsible for managing and controlling Manpower planning process across the company, by regular review of customers needs, analysing, and recommending necessary changes.
- Responsible for analysing the current manpower inventory to accurately forecast the short, medium and long term future manpower requirements for the company
- Responsible for building and monitoring of crew resource budgets
- Constantly working with all relevant departments having a direct effect on manpower requirements, network schedule changes, historical stats, training resource, etc
- Analyze study and identify manpower needs and requirements in all operational and non-operational areas of the Company.
- Assist in developing organizational development strategies in coordination with the Management.
- Prepare the yearly Manpower Budget Plans to be reviewed by the Management for submission to the Oman Air Board.
- Study all new requirements for positions and classification and provide recommendations to the SMHR - COHR and for approval by Management as required.
- Lay down the manpower planning process by developing the most appropriate methods for forecasting and estimating future manpower requirements.
- Develop operating manpower policies and systems consistent with the best practices for it to be reviewed by higher management.
- Ensure the adherence of the Oman Labor Law during the manpower planning and budgeting process.
- Review all Job Descriptions prepared to ensure its accuracy with the section’s roles and responsibilities.
- Analyze, summarize and-or review data; report findings, interpret results and-or make recommendations with regard to distribution of manpower.
- Developing Incentive schemes for improving staff productivity.
- Assist in Succession Planning by identifying critical positions across the Company and formalizing competencies required to fill the position.
- Assist in achieving Omanization Strategies and Objectives in collaboration with other related HR stakeholders by identifying potential positions for Omani nationals while reviewing manpower plans with respective departments.
- To channelize the Promotions ( Band & Additional Responsibilities Promotions ) across the departments
- in the Company
- Any other duties and responsibilities assigned by the SMHR & COHR

Requirements

- Bachelor degree in related discipline preferably in Human Resource / Business Management with 8 years of relevant work experience in Human Resource field with at least 3 years managerial work experience in Manpower planning and budgeting
- Master’s degree in HR / Diploma in HR (CIPD)/ Industrial Engineering / Operations Management will be an advantage.
