Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

- Collaborate with internal teams on planning, budgets, inventory, forecasting and catering changes.
- Collaborate with internal cross functional teams to provide operational insights for service concepts and support in its successful implementation through appropriate communications, logistics and quality control.
- Oversee the operational performance of Service Levels by caterers and suppliers.
- Oversee the development of an inventory management system and necessary codification of stocks for improved forecasting, operations and cost control.
- Provide operational supervision and oversight on on-route launches, changes in schedule and aircraft and service changes. Review, update and publish in a timely manner service changes to all internal and external stakeholders.
- Monitor consumption, and service levels of suppliers, equipment and company resources.
- Ensure that an appropriate quality standards is implemented and audit findings are resolved efficiently.
- Establish necessary procedures for reporting to monitor any product substitutions and noncompliance to standards. Develop appropriate corrective and preventative action including financial penalties.
- Ensure that an appropriate product lifecycle management processes are implemented.
- Support in developing department reports and analyse and recommend areas for improved efficiency and cost reduction without compromising standard of services to Oman Air guests.
- Ensure compliance to all corporate, regulatory and government requirements.
- Oversee and supervise employees. Direct daily activities, recruit, train, develop and discipline to ensure a high standard of service delivery.
- Demonstrate strong mentoring and coaching skills to manage team performance, workflow and foster teamwork.
- Undertake any other duties required by the Company.

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in a related discipline preferably in hospitality or business operations / Administration / Studies field with 8 year’s experience preferably in an airline or catering field of which 3 years in a Supervisory role.

Master’s degree in the related filed will be advantage.
