Employment: Full Time

SABCO Media is looking for a Marketing Communications Manager to handle the communication requirements of the organization, strategy and media planning, develop quality briefs and work with agencies and third parties.

Key Skill Sets:
- Strategy and Media planning, able to develop quality briefs and follow up with agencies, third parties to deliver on requirements within deadlines
- Ability to write PR is an added advantage, PR, events experience, Publishing and radio experience

Job Description / Responsibilities:
- Responsible for creating, implementing and measuring the success of comprehensive marketing communications and public relations plans that will enhance the Organization’s image and position within the marketplace and the general public, and facilitate internal and external communications.
- Ensure articulation of Organization’s desired image and position, assure consistent communication of image and position throughout the Organization, and assure communication of image and position to all constituencies, both internal and external.
- Plan and coordinate the organizational’s and product communication requirements cross relevant platforms including digital and online.
- Coordinate media interest in the Organization and ensure regular contact with target media and appropriate response to media requests.
- Coordinate the appearance of all Organization print and electronic materials such as letterhead, use of logo, brochures, etc.
- Provide counsel for all brand owners within the organization on marketing, communications and public relations.
- Ensure that the Organization regularly conducts relevant market research and coordinate and oversee this activity. Monitor trends.
- Leads projects as assigned, such as cause-related marketing and special events.
- Develop and lead the implementation of online/digital communication for the organization’s brands.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communication, business or related field
- Strong Digital Media Experience or certification
- 4-7+ years of experience on the client side and preferable with experience on the agency side as well.
- Ability to manage cross platform communication campaigns from briefing to execution through agencies and suppliers.
- Proven experience and expertise in developing and implementing marketing communication plans both offline and online.
- Strong research skills and ability to translate the research to a solid findings presentation/brief. .
- Strong interpersonal, verbal and written skills as well as proven ability to develop well-written documents and presentations.
- Commitment to working with shared leadership and in cross-functional teams.
