Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Is responsible for planning and scheduling customer orders and managing the backlog for all products produced at the following production facilities: Salalah (Oman), Riyadh (Saudi Arabia), and Cincinnati, OH (US) (i.e. incoming demand), and ensuring that demand, material availability and resources (i.e. manufacturing supply) are balanced and appropriately managed. The role leads the planning of demand, capacity, inventory, labor, and other production drivers with the goal of meeting or exceeding market, customer, and business expectations of on-time delivery.

The position coordinates communication and data flow between manufacturing, materials, and sales, and ensures that ERP functionality and capability is optimized to achieve consistent, efficient and sustainable world-class delivery metrics. The role is a key interface with operations management/supervisors and customer support leads to effectively and efficiently manage the planning process, including coordinating and improving scheduling at the machine/process level.

Requirements

- 5 to 10 years of experience in a planning or scheduling role, working extensively with an ERP system or equivalent experience. Planning & ERP/Systems experience within a machining environment is preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management, Supply Chain Management or any related field.
- Preferably with Master’s degree.

One of the following certifications preferred.
- APICS Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM)
- APICS Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP)
- APICS Supply Chain Operations Reference Professional (SCOR-P)
