Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

- Maintaining stock of material needed for maintenance of the plants.
- Maintain stock level at an economically acceptable optimum level by analysing historical usage, change in lead times, identify spare parts interchangeability and change in use patterns.
- Technical evaluation of vendor’s quotations for inventory replenishment items and newly created inventory materials.
- Material requirement planning & control.
- Forecast material requirements based on MRP Run in ERP system and analyze accuracy of Master Data in replenishment suggestion.
- Replenishment of stock items, generate PR’s, monitoring critical and shut down PR’s.
- Support for Turnaround Team for major turnaround of plant regarding material management
- Support for Initiation of Outline agreement PR from SAP for long term Contracts of materials and services.
- Analyzing the present stock master and Identification of duplication for the materials helping in reduction of inventory items in SAP MM.
- Analyses requests from Purchase/Suppliers for change of specifications or replacements and obtains consent from concerned End user.
- Creation of new material codes for maintainable spares not coded in SAP MM.
- Support in working of warehouse team for SAP Inventory management and warehouse management.
- Technical support and necessary advise for day by day material related issues.
- Development and continuous improvement of MRP process and the use of ERP System.
- Review the correct utilization of the materials management system and assists end users where necessary.
- Implementation of materials related Company policies and HSEQ requirement.
- Take part in mini projects & initiatives and effective delivery.
- Stock taking of projects left overs and surplus materials
- Proper PCI communication for all stakeholders that include Internal Customers, Suppliers.
- Ensure preservation of material as per international standards
- To work under established policies and procedures.

This work is subject to general review on assignment.

Requirements

- A Bachelor degree in Engineering , preferable Mechanical engineering, with sound knowledge of materials
- Advanced education or qualification in Inventory Management/Material planning is an advantage
- SAP experience is Must
- Knowledge ASTM/API /ANSI code and standard is added advantage
- 4-6 years related experience in similar area of Oil &gas/petrochemicals industries
- Proven ability to deliver projects or other relevant assignments on time, on budget and as promised

- Demonstrate ability to work collaboratively and provide support to peer and other service units
- Proven effective ness in analysis execution, delivering the result.
- Ability to get things done and deliver results under pressure.
- English (fluent) required, Arabic is advantageous
