Operation & Maintenance Expert - Oman Rail Project

We are urgently looking for a Operation & Maintenance expert for major Rail projects in Oman.

O&M Expert will be responsible:
- To assure the whole functionality of all the railways assets under the responsibility of the Operation Director and Maintenance and driving a business reengineering process focused in increase the value of services.
- To assure the delivery of O&M Management Plan.
- To manage the perform all Service Operations activities according to standard and procedures, maximizing customer satisfaction by the delivery of first class support activities.
- To assist the Service Operations team to ensure service delivery quality is maintained through direct assistance in implementing and improving working processes and procedures.

To define and design the strategies, policies, process and procedures to assure:
- Manage the correct functioning and maintenance of all internal and external systems and products serviced.
- Manage incident and problem management support to the highest standards and co-ordinate the resolution with the appropriate resolver groups.
- Ensure shortest restoral times possible, initiating the timely escalations to specialized resolver groups inside and outside, according to the customer contracts, SLAs and monitoring requirements.
- Report and escalate all observed problems relacionados con el mantenimiento y operación de la línea.
- Manage local suppliers in the provision of services for the Mantenance services centers and report on services provided to management.
- Identify knowledge and documentation gaps, and ensure there is a process to get up-to-date information through a knowledge repository (en su area de especialización).
- When/where required, be contactable and support.

Requirements

- Master/ Bachelor in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
- The candidate must have at least 15 Years in Railway Sector
- Should have worked in the field of operation and maintenance of railways.

Specific Skills & Knowledge
- Ability to analyze, draw conclusions, and create solutions to complex customer or infrastructure and systems problems
- Ability to build relationships with peer and management levels both with clients and the company management
- Product and Service knowledge in several of the following areas at advanced levels in Railway O&M Services specially in:
- Crisis Management
- Service Infrastruct/Platforms
- Service Management Process
- Product/Solution Knowledge
- Resource Management
