Job description / Role
- Lead a team of shift technicians to operate the plant to achieve 100% plant availability with 24 hrs continuing dispatch of treated water complying with the WPA, O&M, HACCP and EHS procedures
- Report and record any operations abnormalities to the Operations Manager and carry out rectification plan promptly to restore both dispatched water quality and quantity
- Prepare and maintain daily and monthly operations records properly
- Develop daily equipment check list and conduct daily isolation, normalization and field checks on the process of the plant for ease of monitoring as well as smooth and safe operations
- Provide training for all operations staff in all aspect of plant operations
- Monitor daily chemical consumption and stock level, re-order chemical promptly and expedite delivery
- Ensure compliance with the HACCP System
Requirements
- Degree in Engineering (Chemical/ Environmental/ Mechanical/ Electrical)
- Minimum 5 years of experience in chemical/ process /waste water plant Operations & Maintenance
- Experience in water treatment processes such as UF and RO membrane operation will be an added advantage
- Willing to work in Qurayyat, Oman
- Willing to perform shift work
- Training to be provided in Singapore
