Planner (Civils)

Job description / Role

A fantastic career opportunity for a planning engineer with civils experience to join a global construction consultant on a prestigious highway project in Oman.

Responsibilities and Duties:
- Part of a 3-man planning team; reporting to the Lead Planner
- Produce regular and accurate progress reports for inclusion in the Project Directors client submissions.
- Identify delays, critical paths, areas of concern and propose corrective action to the planning and the section managers
- Ensuring understanding and compliance with company procedures, systems and policies
- Ensuring that all matters relating to planning are recorded and acted on.

Requirements

- Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent essential
- Minimum of 5 years experience with roads/heavy civils projects is essential
- Arabic speaking is advantageous, not essential
- Must be proficient in the use of Primavera P6
