Job description / Role
Private Cook up to 1k Usd for a VIP Family in Muscat, Oman
• Prepare meals in private homes according to employers' recipes or tastes
• Handles all meals for the family and possibly for other household staff
• Help to create clean, tasty International dishes, and Arabic dishes
• Serve meals and snacks to employing families and their guests
• Plan menus according to employers' needs and diet restrictions
• Specialize in preparing fancy dishes and/or food for special diets
• Stock, organize, and clean kitchens and cooking utensils
• Create and explore new cuisines.
Requirements
• POSITION: Private Cook
• SALARY: up to 400 OMR or 1000 USD full package depending on qualifications and experience
• HIRING COMPANY: VIP family
• LOCATION: Muscat, Oman
• AVAILABILITY: Immediately (1-month max)
• EMPLOYMENT TYPE: Permanent
CANDIDATE PROFILE:
• Open to Asian nationals
• Male/Female, 25 – 40 years old
• Candidate currently residing in Oman will be prioritized
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Culinary Arts or any relevant certification
• Minimum of 3-5 years of working experience, experience working with a VIP Family is highly preferred
• Knowledgeable in preparing International and Arabic cuisine (Gluten free, Vegan and Vegetarian are preferred but not a must)
• Willing to work closely with private executive chef to learn new techniques, recipes and cooking styles
• Knowledge in proper food preparation, processes and sanitation storage
• HACCP food practices and proper food sanitation certificates is a must
• Personal and professional, immaculate hygiene is a must
• Has a positive, flexible and professional attitude
• Excellent English speaking skills
