Program Manager - Network Inventory (National or GCC)

The NIS Programme Management role is to manage projects which ensure that the NIS application and computing resources are deployed, according to the plans set, to have a consolidated central database for both the physical and logical network resources and Customer Services with accurate information.

In addition to manage the provision, implementation, commissioning and roll-out of the new or enhanced solutions and associated operational support requirements.

Core Responsibilities:

Project Planning & Execution
- Control all aspects of Network Inventory Programs in close coordination with all the project Managers, stakeholders and vendors.
- Manage strategic Network Inventory Programs from start to finish by ensuring that all project related documentation are kept and updated.
- Working closely with all PM Teams to permanently increase the speed and efficiency of projects’ execution.
- Manage the availability of sufficient internal and external resources to complete the projects.
- Control tendering process for implementation of Network Inventory Programs.

Progress Monitoring & Reporting:
- Track & Optimise resource utilisation, for most efficient execution.
- Monitor progress of projects relative to plan and to ensure deliverables are successfully completed.
- Report on progress Weekly/Monthly/Quarterly or as per request.

Risk Management & Financial Control:
- Control and manage project obstacles (risks, issues and changes in scope) and support resolution /creation of mitigation plans.
- Responsible for decision making when multiple parties are involved and escalation when required.
- Manage the execution of all projects within the allocated budget.
- Manage cost optimization initiatives.
- Project Close-out, Knowledge Management
- Run feedback sessions with project managers to plan contract closure.
- Manage contract details for Cost Management.
- Manage the creation of a repository for Quality Management (Lessons Learned).
- Control Communications Management to ensure timely and effective flow of information.

Requirements

You have minimum a university degree, minimum 6 years’ work experience in project management preferred in Telecom/ IT environment. Strong experience of project management methodologies, including start up, execution, monitoring, reporting and closure. Proven ability to deliver project on time to quality and budget standards. A clear history of involvement with an NIS project.
