Public Relations Officer - Logistics - OMASCO - Oman

This position will be responsible for representing the company at various Customs Points, Border Posts, Government Agencies and Service Providers to ensure smooth and timely movement of incoming and outgoing cargo. The position ensures that this is done in a fair and transparent manner considering and respecting the laws of the land.

The position will also ensure timely customs clearance, payment of customs/shipping agent charges, proper documentation in line with customs laws, etc. You will also coordinate and support customer service, third party logistics, warehouse, product teams in ensuring smooth operations in line with customs requirements and as per Company guidelines.

Requirements

You will be a higher secondary school or more qualified Omani national with at least two years of relevant experience in a similar role. You will have expert knowledge on customs rules and regulations. Completed course certificate in Customs Clearance with Customs Registration ID is essential along with good communication skills (Arabic and English) is essential. You will have a proactive, motivated approach and will be a team player. Adequate working knowledge of MS Office Applications is preferred.

Valid Omani driving licence is a must. The position requires travel to outside locations.
