Job description / Role
- Source construction materials, equipment, and subcontractors from local and overseas vendors
- Coordinate with Project Team, Engineering Department and Vendors for technical clearance
- Prepare Techno-Commercial comparisons of vendors proposals
- Negotiate with vendors to get the best price, delivery time, and commercial terms
- Process order and follow through on deliveries
- Administer compliance to procurement policy and procedures
- Analyse and report purchasing activities to global headquarters
Requirements
- Degree/ Diploma in Supply Chain, Engineering or any relevant field
- Minimum 2 to 3 years of relevant working experience
- Experience in sourcing for vendors and management of vendor relationships
- Proficient in Microsoft applications such as PowerPoint, Excel and Word
- A good team player who possesses good communication and interpersonal skills
- Resourceful and Meticulous
- Self-motivated, willing to learn, result-oriented, independent with good attitude
- Knowledge and proficiency with Oracle will be an added advantage
- Contract will be two years or upon completion of project, whichever earlier
