Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

You will drive the resourcing, recruitment and onboarding activities for both White Collar vacancies and Blue Collar workers within the business, which includes working with 3rd party vendors both in Oman and internationally.
It is expected you can demonstrate the ability to exceed targets and Recruitment KPIs whilst leading junior team members, alongside a strong understanding of GCC labour & Inhouse compliance.
A key understanding of the Commercial value the Recruitment department presents within the business is essential as is the understanding & ability to communicate with internal & external stakeholders (from Junior to Director level)
Attention to detail, understanding of the candidate & job 'pipeline' and IT skills within Microsoft Office & Applicant Tracking/Recruitment systems is a must!

Operational:
. Drive all Recruitment activities.
. Liaise with Expat candidates – ensuring complete engagement throughout the recruitment process.
. Liaise with 3rd party venders - ensuring they meet company standards, expectations and regulations.
. Build applicant sources by researching and contacting community services, colleges, employment agencies, recruiters, media, and internet sites; providing organization information, opportunities, and benefits; making presentations; maintaining rapport. Arrange management interviews by coordinating schedules; arranges travel, lodging, and meals; escorting applicant
to interviews; arranging community tours.
. Maintain and update job descriptions.
. Ensure all new joiners have a complete Job Description with is understood.
. Maintain and ensure accuracy of assessment criteria and assessment records.
. Maintain a rich database of candidate information.
. Prepare and holds interviews with potential candidates.
. Ensure the timely collection of all legal documentation required for visa processing.
. Maintains effective screening measures to provide excellent candidates for selection.
. Acts as an ambassador to the organisation and ensures new employees are inducted effectively.
. Contribute to recruitment effectiveness by utilising the appropriate competency framework.
. Negotiate effectively with potential candidates to enhance attraction to Sarooj.
. Contributes to the accomplishment of the HR mission by completing any tasks deemed necessary by the HR Management Team.
. Ensures awareness of Oman legal legislation and any other interfacing country laws.
. Ensure that all employees are correctly inducted, understand the organisations goals and work together as one team to achieve these.
. Follow HR policies and procedures to ensure management consistency and enhance employee engagement at all levels.
. Ensure legal compliance of the recruitment process at all times.

Management & Leadership
. Leading junior members of the team. Ensuring their understanding of their role, recruitment, compliance and targets are developed and/or achieved.

Requirements

Essential:
. Degree Qualified (Diploma acceptable too with relevant experience)
. 5+ years recruitment experience
. 2+ years experience within Construction/Engineering sector
. Proficient in English both written & spoken
. Computer literate with proven ATS/Recruitment software experience and Microsoft Office
. Excellent communication and people management skills
. Exceptional moral compass and dedication to transparency and fairness

Desirable:
. Degree in Business Administration
. Inhouse Recruitment experience
. Managing & leading others experience
