Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Marketing of business banking loan products as well as liability products and maintenance of advances portfolio aimed at quality customer service and maximizing contribution to banks profitability without exposing it to undue risk, administration.

Advances:
- Involve in formulation and implementation of marketing strategies with the objective of booking new business, maximizing revenue /yield, and augment quality assets to achieve budgetary targets.
- Interacting with customers/ their representatives for understanding and meeting their requirements.
- Assistance in analyzing financial statement, business processes of customers and preparing credit proposals as per standards defined by bank.
- Recommend facilities/ excesses to the appropriate authority/ management as per authority matrix for approval through defined channels.
- Assistance in preparing offer letters to the customer as per standards defined by bank.
- Assistance in ensuring timely completion of documentation and other formalities by the customers for securing the interest of the bank.
- Assistance in ensuring timely and accurate submission of MIS and follow up reports and returns for the management review and reports for regulatory agencies as required.
- Assistance in ensuring timely recovery of scheduled recoveries in the accounts on the due dates.
- Assistance in follow up for regularization and recovery of sticky/ special mention / classified accounts in the portfolio. Periodic review of their portfolio to ensure proper management.

Deposits:
- Marketing of liability products and booking of new deposits business.
- Responsible for attending the business banking liability / deposit customers and resolving their queries / issues with the view of targeting them as potential assets customer in future.

Cross selling:
- Cross selling other products and services of the bank such as POS, Credit Cards, etc. to maximise benefits to the customer and improve profitability of the bank.

Other duties:
- Attending to any other duties and responsibilities as advised time to time by the Head - Business Banking.
- Achieving the credit / deposit annual budget as advised time to time by the Head Business Banking.
- Attending to the customers in the extended banking hours as & when advised / required by the bank.
- Assistance in attending to the internal audit, compliance, external audit & CBO or any regulatory body queries / remarks.
- Attending to the work/ assigned duties as per the laid down banks policies & procedures.

Requirements

- Must be an Omani National.
- A candidate should be a Diploma holder with a minimum of 5 years of experience in related field or Bachelor Degree holder with
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in Banking.
- Should possess effective communication and presentation skills (Oral and Verbal).
- Should be able to meet deadlines and targets.
- Must be able to work independently.
- Should possess good leadership and decision making skills.
- Should possess good financial Analysing skills.
- Should possess excellent knowledge of MS Office in Arabic & English.
- Should be self-motivated, initiative, innovative and dynamic.
