Job description / Role
Resident Engineer (Oman)
Dhofar Beach Resort in Salalah, Oman. The estimated $111-million Taameer Investment project will be a beachfront resort complex, featuring a five-star resort with 130 rooms, signature restaurants, food and beverage outlets, leisure and water sports facilities, meeting rooms, business center, retail outlets, health club and spa and a ballroom.
The resort will also provide an additional 85 state-of-the-art hotel apartments and 85 exclusive VIP villas. The total built-up area of the project is approximately 80,000 square metevrs (866,000 square feet).
Our client is looking to hire a senior and well experienced Resident Engineer with a strong background in Buildings (preferably Hotels, Resorts, Office blocks)
Requirements
- You will have 10yrs + experience working as an R.E
- Background with large or recognised Consultant / Contractor
All Nationality welcome to apply
- Degree in Civil or Structural engineering is essential
- Pref, Chartered or other recognised membership
- Must have clear and competent expertise to FIDIC
- Clear appreciation and understanding of Contract Admin
- Background in Buildings, Resorts, Hotels etc
- Max age 58yrs
