Resident Engineer

Job description / Role

An international and highly reputable consultancy in Salalah, Oman has an immediate requirement for a Resident Engineer with Hotels experience.

Responsibilities:
- Managing the planning and resource allocation for the project
- Managing a multi-disciplined team on site
- Attending meetings with the Client, Contractor and other Consultants
- Subcontract and contract administration
- Supervising the Contractor’s work to achieve construction in accordance with the contract documents
- Reviewing Contractor’s technical submissions
- Providing all necessary on-site directions and instructions
- Ensuring all materials and equipment meet the required specifications
- You will be taking part in contract review and must have strong contract admin experience

Requirements

- You must have 10+ years of experience to be considered
- Have a BSc/BEng/BA in civil/structural engineering
- Must have worked on Middle Eastern projects before
- Previous resident engineer experience
- Strong contact admin skills
- You must be client facing and have strong leadership and coordination skills
