Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Main responsibilities:
- Identify and drive business opportunities to expand existing and generate new business with Multinational client base in line with the annual targets;
- Drive sales by developing and establishing relationships by offering existing products and promoting value added services;
- Maintain relationships with Multinationals by providing support, information, and guidance as well as responding to product queries efficiently and accurately;
- Keep abreast of market conditions and developments and introduce innovative ideas with regards to product development in line with market trends and customer requirements;
- Maintains quality service by ensuring that policies are in line with internal underwriting guidelines as well as standing regulations in the country of operations;
- Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; benchmarking state-of-the-art practices; participating in professional societies;
- Responsible for full business administration from data base updates to business reports;
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed;
- To take responsibility for own personal development in line with agreed annual performance objectives;
- Understand and adhere to all Compliance requirements, including but not limited to, reporting of suspicious transactions, screening requirements, as applicable, and the retention of Company records; plus provide timely support and unrestricted access to information as well as attend all training requests from Compliance.

Objectives:
- Responsible for driving sales of employee benefits to new and existing Multinationals. This role is responsible for identifying and managing sales opportunities, building an in-depth understanding of client business drivers and to position group benefits to manage the sales process to a successful conclusion in line with annual targets.
- Building and expanding customer relationships with the Multinational client base.

Reporting to:
- Business Development Manager – Direct Sales

Requirements

- Graduate or Post graduate;
- 2 Year experience in sales;
- Business Acumen;
- Insurance qualification from a recognised body (LOMA or Chartered Insurance Institute);
- High knowledge of the Company business, capabilities & product offering
- Excellent communication skills in all his forms;
- Strong interpersonal skills;
- Strong negotiation and influencing skills;
- Results-driven;
- Strong presentation skills and knowledge of selling techniques;
- Ability to develop and deliver innovative ideas;
- Computer literacy;
- Ability to work as part of a team.
