Sales Engineer - Water Treatment - Industrial Products Division - OMASCO - Oman

The objective of this position is to implement the sales strategy of the organization to achieve revenue and collection goals; conduct technical evaluation of enquiries, prepare abstract and reevaluate supplier quotes to ensure that customer requirements are fully complied; execute contracts within the timelines, cost effectively; grow revenue from each client and build a balanced portfolio of clients across industries and geographies to de-risk revenue growth; identify and develop new markets and client opportunities; track competitors and their strategies and build on the Company’s market share in each product; maintain sound relationship with principals to obtain market support; deliver sales efficiencies by maximizing revenue per client, deal size, revenue; to enhance the brand image of the company; monitor and record marketing spends, etc.

The position will report to the Divisional Manager and will be part of the Industrial Products division of OMASCO.

Requirements

You should possess sound technical knowledge of water treatment techniques, methods and methodologies and should have a minimum 5 years of relevant sales experience. You should be conversant in competition analysis and benchmarking and familiar with assessment of barries to entry. Excellent negotiation and proposal making skills along with data, pricing and trend analysis will enable you to be successful in this role. Gulf experience together with valid Omani driving licence is preferred.

To apply for this position you should be a Chemical Engineer preferably with Masters in Business Administration. You will be well versed with MS Office & Windows applications.
