Senior Analyst - Planning & Optimization (Supply Chain, Oil & Gas)

Created from the integration of three companies - Oman Refineries and Petrochemicals Company LLC (ORPC), Aromatics Oman LLC (AOL) and Oman Polypropylene (OPP) - Orpic is one of Oman`s largest companies and is one of the most rapidly growing businesses in the Middle East`s oil industry.

We are pleased to announce the following vacancy;

This position analyses the plant processes & optimization of oil & petrochem production and makes recommendations to improve optimization of the plant.

DELIVERABLES:
* Execute and monitor SCM plans and schedules to ensure that all targets and goals are met and make the necessary recommendations to fill the gaps.
* Develop a detailed / in-depth understanding of the industry and process in order to provide clear analysis of gathered data resulting in projects for improvement or process improvement.
* Directly coordinate with external parties such as vendors and service providers to ensure that service level agreements are fulfilled and met.
* Evaluate and collate all the data and information gathered from internal depts. in order to analyze market trends, process limitations and make the appropriate recommendations for improvement.
* Highlight performance against department KPIs for management decision making.
* Ensure that the input data for Optimization is accurate and to recommend changes if required.
* Performing analysis of the outputs of the optimization cases
* Preparation of comparison between different cases
* Participation in the development of the Orpic level rolling plan and performance monitoring.
* Preparation of the evaluation of marginal economic drivers
* Searching for market opportunities and make recommendations to capture the same

Requirements

* Bachelors degree in Eng. with min 8 10 years experience in supply chain analysis / planning / optimization within in Oil & Gas .
* Proven effectiveness in using practical data, performing in-depth analysis, driving for results required
* Proven effectiveness in analysis execution, delivering results, promotion of team work required
