Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

The purpose of the role is to carry out maintenance, installation, troubleshooting, calibration and repair works on site or in repair shop and minimize the downtime for all installed analyzers by the timely implementation of planned maintenance procedures.

Carries out preventive maintenance, troubleshooting for process gas chromatographs. Carries out troubleshooting and modification of sulfur recovery unit analyzers such as Tail gas H2S analyzers and programs various process analyzers systems such as Gas chromatograph and CEMS analyzers.

Tests, calibrates and reinstalls repaired analyzers, ensuring accuracy of operation and checks all test instrumentation against recognized standards. Works on calibration of analyzers and maintains records on analyzers testing, calibration and installation.

Maintain and repair all process analyzers as used for safety and shutdown control, personnel monitoring, environmental monitoring, product quality and process efficiency.

Observes all HSE regulations and ensures safe operating procedures are followed. Provides work direction to junior technician and contracts as assigned by Supervisor.

Requirements

- Minimum requirement is a Diploma in Technology
- Minimum experience required is 5 years in an oil and gas or petrochemical industry

COMPETENCIES:
- Awareness of various FF, HART, Profibus based analytical instruments,
- Familiar with workshop testing and repair techniques
- Familiar with use of special tools and test equipment for analyzers maintenance
